⚠️IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR A BOT, BLOCKED AND REPORTED, CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT PROFILE PICTURE AND DEFAULT MAIN BLOG TITLE BEFORE FOLLOWING. IT’S THAT SIMPLE!

🛑 DNI
================================================
I know that it looks unwelcoming, but starting off with a DNI warning is probably for the best.

Pedophilia, regards of what you try to repaint it as (lolicon, shotacon, proship, etc.), will not be tolerated, nor will zoophillia or gore/guro fetishes. These are not “valid sexualities” or “kinks”, they are mental illnesses. I will die on this hill, and if this makes you upset, fuck off and seek help.

Similarly, any centrists, anarcho-capitalists, conservatives, fascists, tankies, and other similarly pro-capitalist, pro-authoritarian ideologies will be relentlessly made fun of and mocked on this blog. If you are upset by this, perhaps some introspection is in order.

This is a hate free zone. Bigotry of any kind, whether it be on basis of race, religion, gender (and gender identity), sexuality, nationality, ethnicity, or community (such as furries), will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

📜 Blog Overview
================================================
For a general idea of what this blog is, I’ll just introduce myself.

Hi, I’m ClockworkCorvus, or just Corvus. I’m a 22 year old typical “autistic Gen-Z leftist” man (he/him pronouns). I started using tumblr after being permanently suspended on twitter, and I am still adapting to this new platform. All things considered, my posts here will likely be the same as they were on twitter.

Do not expect any form of consistent theme around here. One second it will be the most brain-rotting shitposts you have ever seen, and the next second it is some radical political bullshit that probably will get me put on the no-fly list.

My interests recently have mainly been worldbuilding, TTRPGs (specifically Pathfinder 2nd Edition), and whatever the genre of music that Guilty Gear Strive’s OST is supposed to be. If you want to see more focus on the former two, check out my side blog, @comradecorvusartandwriting where I’ll post that sort of stuff, and maybe eventually art, music, and more as my skills continue to develop in those fields.

Also, I am a socially starved person, I am not afraid to admit it, so please, if you ever have any questions, just want to get to know me more, etc., send me an ask. I love to chat about whatever when given the chance!

F.A.Q
================================================

Q: “Is your PFP from Warhammer 40K?
A: No, but it definitely pulls some inspiration from it. A friend of mine, who goes by MP_XXIV on twitter, kindly made it for me a year or so back, and I’ve been using it (or some variation of it) ever since on all platforms I am active on.

Q: Where do you stand politically?
A: Broadly speaking, I adhere to the solarpunk movement’s core concepts, but I tend to lean more towards socialism and democratic confederalism than standard anarchism. Though I do believe that many anarchist concepts are excellent for more localized situations. Further more, "Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.”

Q: Ew, you’re a Christian?
A: Yes, and I have come to despise the beliefs that many self proclaimed “Christians” hold. There is nothing “all loving” or “godly” about many of these denominations, even the beliefs of my own parents disgust me. I consider myself non-denominational due to how much my beliefs differ from most established denominations, but the concepts of Open Christianity and Universalism are dominant factors. Please do not group me in with those bastards who think that their hatred is supported by their faith.

Q: Where is your header image from?
A: I commissioned @officialnorthernlion to do a piece of a dream that my current Pathfinder 2e character had. He is more active on twitter as “hairidan02”, so definitely check his stuff out. You can check out the full image on the side blog I mentioned earlier.

The crest of the Bug Ferret Galactic Community, a intergovernmental organization that represents the of the vast majority of bug ferret polities and institutions in galactic politics.

The crest depicts the habitable tropics of the bug ferret homeworld, and the avatars of their planet (brown and white ferret with a teal band overhead) and their large moon (pink spotted ferret with an orange fungi) surrounded by a pink cloud representing their relationship as egg twins in Star Family mythology. The homeplanet is shown transferring life to their sibling, who is imagined as having been a stillborn that was returned from death by terraforming. The six other ferrets represent the inhabited celestial bodies of the local star system. There are some expanded forms of the BFGC crest that include avatars of more or all of the inhabited worlds in their territory, which can get ridiculously large. Bug ferrets can only see red through green on the visible light spectrum, meaning their blue gas giant and bodies of water are depicted as a dark, grayish green.

Like other ferret crests, it can be represented in any style between painted realism and a "Braille" form; simple grooves that are easier for touch identification in total darkness. Bug ferrets do not use flags to represent political factions— they are accustomed to windless underground tunnels and tend to have poorer long distance vision than other sophonts, making "legibility at a distance" unimportant to them.

Inane worldbuilding minutia of the day: there is a viral dance craze in Runaway to the Stars "modern day" (approx. 2325), because what is society without a viral dance craze. It began on Martian social media and then spread to the rest of the human internet via the extranet social platform Megaforum.

It is called "The Whop."

image

It takes some skill to to whop quickly without losing your balance, and videos of skilled whoppers dancing in increasingly ridiculous and inconvenient locations has plagued the human internet for years now. It has a resurgence every time a new bubble of human space discovers and spreads it.

There is also a two-person version of The Whop:

image

Two-person whopping is extremely popular among children, much to the dismay of their elders. If you don't pay attention and keep time with the other party, it's extremely easy to slap them square in the face. Video compilations of people getting injured while whopping abound. School nurses have seen many victims of the viral dance, sent in with bruises and bloodied noses after whopping too hard.

reblog can we make the whop go viral irl please? that would be really funny I think
